Computer decomposition of overlapping electron absorption spectra

Abstract

This paper proposes a computer decomposition program for overlapping electron absorption spectra written in BASIC language, which can be applied to the Fx-702P program calculator. Overlapping curves with less than 6 Gauss-type absorption peaks and less than 40 experimental points can be decomposed directly by this program. More overlapping peaks can be decomposed using this procedure in piecewise iterations.
