Abstract

A method of the 3rd curve to fit the LogC~△W(oR △W, △S) operation curve is recommended in this paper. The method is carried out on 8 operation curves at one or two ends of the linear bend. The avarage value of relative error (RE) of the twenty-four test points falling in lower concentration section is 2.7 percent and the maximum error (MAX. RE) is 8.0 percent. Forty-four test points were falling in linear section, the RE is 1.5 percent and the MAX. RE is 7.7 percent. The RE of ten test points falling in higher concentration section is 1.9 percent and the MAX. RE is 4.2 percent. The accuracy of this fitting method in linear operation zone is similar to that of linear fitting method. And the accuracy in non-linear analytical zone is much better than the 2nd curve method.
