On Political and Economic Base of Public Participation in Urban Planning and Its institutional Arrangements

Abstract

This article introduces the historical development of public participation in modern urban planning, analyzes the political and economic foundation and practical situation of public participation in my country at this stage, and then discusses the institutional arrangements for public participation in urban planning.
