Abstract

The article believes that the soul of the rule of law is the rational and scientific legal concept, and expounds the characteristics and shortcomings of our country's traditional legal concept by analyzing the special environment in which it emerged and the three stages of its evolution - etiquette, benevolence, and rationality. Fundamentally speaking, traditional legal concepts have fundamental flaws compared with Western legal concepts that pursue freedom, democracy, and rule of law, and have become the root cause of the difficulty of the rule of law in our country.
