The global COVID-19 pandemic catalyzed a rapid transformation in the educational landscape, compelling institutions worldwide to transition from traditional face-to-face instruction to technology-driven distance learning models. This paradigm shift emphasized the need for flexibility, accessibility, and digital competence in education delivery, especially for learners dispersed across various geographical locations. This paper investigates the deployment of digital platforms, innovative instructional strategies, and assessment methodologies that supported continuity in learning during the crisis. Furthermore, it analyzes student engagement, participation, and learning outcomes using survey-based data to evaluate the effectiveness of online education tools. The study also identifies the key challenges faced during this transition ranging from infrastructure gaps to pedagogical adaptation and provides insights into the development of resilient and scalable e-learning systems for future crisis scenarios.
