Abstract

When purchasing a color TV, if bright spots appear at the corners of the screen as soon as the power is turned on, it is an abnormal phenomenon caused by defects in the picture tube itself. This type of TV cannot be purchased . When a color TV is first powered on, the cathode of the picture tube is in a preheating state. Ordinary picture tubes generally preheat for about 20 seconds, and fast cathode tubes also need about 5 seconds to emit electrons.
