Thermodynamic Compatibility of Components in Nitro Cellulose Plasticized by DEGDN and TEGDN

The interaction between components in the nitrocellulose (NC) system plasticized by nitrated diethylene glycol (DEGDN) and nitrated triethylene glycol (TEGDN) was studied using gas chromatography (GC) and optical microscopy interference method. Thermodynamic properties. The fact that the partial molar entropy value of the mixture is reduced shows that there is a strong interaction energy between the components. The phase diagrams of the NC-DEGDN and NC-TEGDN systems are obtained.
