Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between organizational loyalty, job satisfaction, and educational performance of secondary school teachers in Baghdad, Iraq, in 2022. The research methodology was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included 715 secondary school teachers in Baghdad, and the sample size was 250, selected using Cochran's formula and simple random sampling. Data were collected using three questionnaires: educational performance (Rabiei Mandjin & Qolizadeh Nargesi, 2015), job satisfaction by Smith, Kendall, and Hallin (1969), and organizational loyalty by Ali and Al-Kazemi (2007), with reliabilities of 0.74, 0.78, and 0.83, respectively. Descriptive and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation and multivariate regression) were used for data analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship (0.700) between organizational loyalty and educational performance, and a significant relationship (0.650) between job satisfaction and educational performance of secondary school teachers in Baghdad (Sargolzaei et al., 2018). Organizational loyalty and job satisfaction had the greatest impact on educational performance (Khan et al., 2015), indicating the need to improve job satisfaction and loyalty to enhance teachers' performance.
