Analysis of Spatial Form of Urban Center in Medium-size Cities

Abstract

 
This article investigates the spatial form of the central areas of three medium-sized cities, Lianyungang, Yangzhou and Changzhou, and believes that under the combined effect of various socio-economic factors, the urban central areas present different spatial form characteristics. These characteristics are important in urban design. The basis of spatial form beautification is the inevitable result of organic connection. This article proposes several design principles and specific operating steps.
