Abstract

Cryogenic nitrogen scrubbing is a non-polar physics with high hydrogen content, hydrogen exhibits significant quantum effects at cryogenic temperature (~80°K) absorption process. This work applies the normal solution theory, based on thermodynamic analysis, and uses the third-order dimensional equation for the binary system in the nitrogen scrubbing process, and the Henry coefficient equation for the hydrogen-containing system to predict the vapor and liquid balance of the binary system under low pressure. Simulation calculations. The simulation method can be generalized to non-polar binary systems under cryogenic conditions.
